Tanga

We had a very successful Tanga night! We received LOTS of compliments on our beautiful windsocks.

If you did not have a chance to attend our Tanga night and would like to purchase your child's art for $10, please email your child's teacher. Students who have already brought money for their art and were not able to attend will bring home their art work on Monday.

Thank you for your donation and supporting Tanga school.

Have a great weekend.

Tanga Night!

Dear Parents,

Tonight is Tanga night from 6-8pm. Each student has made a beautiful piece of art for the sale.  As in previous years, students have first dibs on their own artwork.  Each piece will be for sale for $10.  If you would like to purchase your child’s work prior to the sale please email their classroom teacher.  We will put a sold sticker on the piece. Student work will be able to be taken home the evening of the sale after 7:00 p.m. or the next day.  We would like to showcase their work for most of the evening.

Dear Mom and Dad:

Today we completed our math problem about buying supplies using our imaginary $100. This was a tricky math question and my teachers were really impressed of how hard we tried.

We went for an art walk on the other side of the school.

Question of the day: Post on the blog an art piece that you saw from another class that you enjoyed!

We hope to see you tonight!

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

100!

Dear Parents,

As you know Cranston School will be having their Tanga Show and Sale on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 from 6-8pm. Money can be brought tomorrow morning or the evening of Art Sale and Walk.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Dear Mom and Dad:

Today we displayed our beautiful windsocks for our wing to view. We also had the opportunity to look at other classes’ art as well. I can’t WAIT for you to look at all of the art work tomorrow during our Tanga Art night from 6-8pm.

In the afternoon we added two new poems into our poetry folders that was all about 100! I actually wrote one of the poems. Ask me to tell you what I wrote about. We loved sharing our poems to our classmates.

We then pretended we received $100 to buy supplies for children in Tanga. We had a list of supplies with prices on them and we had to figure out what we might buy. Our total amount had to add up to $100.

Question of the day: If I had $100 I would buy ____________ but  wouldn’t buy ______________.

Dear Mom and Dad:

Ask me about my field trip to the Ann & Sandy Cross!

We all did different things the last two days with the fieldtrips going on. Ask me to tell you what I worked on at school.
