Farewell!

Our last blog of the year!

We watched an amazing magic show today. There was a strong message about "being a bucket filler". Ask me to tell you what this means

Parents, it has been an absolute pleasure teaching your children this year. We had such an amazing year and your child made this year so fulfilling for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and love. Have a great summer.

One more sleep!

Dear mom and dad:

This afternoon we watched some dance performances from students at Cranston school. The school later had a cool Dan e party! It was so much fun.

Only one more sleep of the school year! I have been working hard finishing up some work and cleaning out my book bin. Please remind me to empty out my backpack tonight so I can bring the rest of my items tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will be bringing my indoor shoes home. Please send a plastic bag to store my shoes. Thank you!

I also have my report card in my backpack. Please share it with me and celebrate my successes this year.

SANDWICH MAKING
For those families who were at Cranston last year, you will remember our Sandwich Making Community Project (donations went to the Mustard Seed) that we were involved in and what a HUGE success it was!  For those new to us, throughout the year, we have been working very hard with our students to recognize the importance of giving back to their community.  We would like to participate in this project again this year.  If we could have each student bring in $2 for this project, it will be used to purchase the sandwich items (bread, ham, mustard, butter, cheese slices, Ziploc bags).  Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.

Pumpkin plant observation

Dear Mom and Dad:

As the year comes to an end it seems as though our blogs are getting shorter and shorter but not because  we don't have much to say but because we have been so busy!

We have been busy working away at our work for the Celebration of Learning. We also observed our pumpkin plants today!

Question of the day: Post on the blog an observation you noticed about your pumpkin plant today.

Lorne Kelly

Dear Mom and Dad:

Today Lorne Kelly visited our classroom. Our teachers were so proud of us! We were very respectful as he shared his paintings with us and learned how to draw two different pictures. Ask me to share with you what two different paintings I did. We used watercolor pencil crayons to color our work and tomorrow we will add color. Ask me to share with you what his style is like.

We gave him a special pumpkin plant as a thank you. Some of us even asked for his autograph. What an amazing experience to have the opportunity to learn from a real artist.

Question of the day: What did you enjoy most about Mr. Kelly’s visit.
