Ride your Bike to school!

** PLEASE NOTE: rainbow triad’s entry and dismissal door has changed due to the construction. We will be dismissing students at DOOR #1 which is the door on the side of the building by the parking lot with the stairs.

Dear Mom and Dad:

Today was "ride your bike to school today!" post on the blog if you rode your bike to school and your teacher will let Mr. McDougal know so he can add it to their tally.

Mrs. Ly’s class continued swimming this week.

All three classes started off the morning with our daily 5 routine. I am working on adding details to my writing, writing stories with a beginning middle and end and making sure I have periods and capital letters in the appropriate spaces.

Question of the day: Post on the blog what you are working on in math.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

All student library books need to be returned no later than June 5th

Mrs. Ly’s class will be swimming THIS WEEK of June 1-4.

SANDWICH MAKING
For those families who were at Cranston last year, you will remember our Sandwich Making Community Project (donations went to the Mustard Seed) that we were involved in and what a HUGE success it was!  For those new to us, throughout the year, we have been working very hard with our students to recognize the importance of giving back to their community.  We would like to participate in this project again this year.  If we could have each student bring in $2 for this project, it will be used to purchase the sandwich items (bread, ham, mustard, butter, cheese slices, Ziploc bags).  Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.
