Canadian Landscape Artist

Dear Mom and Dad:

All three classes had music today.

In math today we looked at a mini project we will do to represent Cranston’s 5th anniversary. Ask me to tell you what question I am looking at. We talked about how we would get the information and each class will need to represent their learning on poster paper.

We looked at our pumpkin plants today! Ask me to tell you what I noticed about my plant.

Tomorrow we have a very special artist coming in. His name is Lorne Kelly and he is a Canadian Landscape Artist and he will be visiting Rainbow Triad! We went to his website and looked at some of his art. CLICK HERE TO VISIT HIS WEBSITE

Question of the day: Post on the blog some wonders that you have about Lorne Kelly.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

All library books need to be returned.

SANDWICH MAKING
For those families who were at Cranston last year, you will remember our Sandwich Making Community Project (donations went to the Mustard Seed) that we were involved in and what a HUGE success it was!  For those new to us, throughout the year, we have been working very hard with our students to recognize the importance of giving back to their community.  We would like to participate in this project again this year.  If we could have each student bring in $2 for this project, it will be used to purchase the sandwich items (bread, ham, mustard, butter, cheese slices, Ziploc bags).  Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.
