Dear Mom and Dad:
We had a very special treat
this afternoon! We had Cabane a Sucre come to our school today. It was so neat
to experience this. He had huge blocks of ice and poured hot syrup onto the
ice, then we used Popsicle sticks to twist the syrup and then it stuck to our
sticks. It was delicious.
I have a bag of valentine
treats and cards. Ask me to read some of them to you.
We read a story called “My
Map Book”. We looked at different drawings of maps that the author thought
about such as, map of my bedroom, even map of my stomach! We each drew a map of
our heart. Ask me to tell you
All three classes had music
today with Mrs. Mc.Bride.
Question of the day: Post on
the blog acts of kindness that you have done over the weekend.
Have a great long weekend!
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
Housekeeping:
- There is no school on Thursday and Friday for
Teacher’s Convention and no school on Monday February 16 for Family day!
- During
the next couple of weeks we will be painting using acrylic paint. This paint
will NOT come off your child’s clothing. We will try to ensure the all students
are using the paint cautiously but accidents to happen. Please send your child
with a paint shirt or old clothes that can withstand paint stain for next week.
It could be an old large t-shirt, apron etc.
I made a new friend, she asked me what my name was and my age. We played together and were kind to each other.
ReplyDeleteRiley helped out by clearing ice in the yard.
ReplyDeleteJack realized he was short a sucker for one of the valentine's for the kids at the dayhome. Without hesitation he offered up one of his suckers he had received at school earlier that day.
