Signs of Winter

**We are going on a School Winter Walk this Friday. Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for our walk: snow boots, snow pants, jacket, gloves, mitts, hats, toques, scarves etc.

Dear Mom and Dad:

Mrs. McEvoy and Ms. Deboald were away today so we had two guest teachers.

We started designing our Tanga art! Ask me to tell you what we will be making. We are using what we know about Ted Harrison to design it.

We wrote in our journals and drew pictures of “signs of winter”. After listening to a story, we brainstormed some ideas.

We had fun learning breakdancing with Mrs. Janelle

Question of the day: What are some signs of winter?

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

- If you are interested in bringing valentine’s cards for your child’s class, we will be handing them out on Wednesday February 11. We would recommend you write just “From: (your child’s name)” instead of writing all the names of each student. This will make it easier for them to hand it out to students. Please note that bringing cards is optional! We will be handing out cards separately per class so brining enough cards for everyone in your child’s class would be recommended. Thank you!

Mrs. Ly = 21 students
Ms. Deobald = 19 students
Mrs. McEvoy = 22 students

- Bonjour mes amis!

We are looking for parents to assist with our Carnival activities on Tuesday Feb 10. There will be stations set up between 10:30 and 1:30- led by teachers with your support. Volunteers are asked to meet in the hub at 10:30 for a quick debrief, assist a classroom with station set up, stay with that station, and then assist with transporting station materials back in again.

If you are interested in joining us for our winter celebration, please email Shannon McMaster at Cranston.Volunteers@Outlook.com

Merci Beaucoup!

Please remember that all special Tanga T-shirt orders and due by February 10th!  We hope that you will consider participating in this part of our fundraiser.  T-shirt size samples are available to look at in the office.  We will be encouraging all students who have purchased a shirt to wear them the week of our Tanga event!
