Wacky Wednesday

Dear Mom and Dad:

It was wacky Wednesday today! Our teachers were very proud of us for being so flexible as we needed to relocate to do our learning in different parts of the school.

We learned a new skill during Read to Someone called “Coaching and time”. Ask me to tell you what this means. We also got to share our “all about me” books with our buddies!

All three classes had music today. We are practicing on our floor hockey skills in gym.

Question of the day: What did you enjoy most about buddies?

Please take some time to read our housekeeping items!

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

- We are going on a School Winter Walk this Friday. Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for our walk: snow boots, snow pants, jacket, gloves, mitts, hats, toques, scarves etc.

- If you are interested in bringing valentine’s cards for your child’s class, we will be handing them out on Wednesday February 11. We would recommend you write just “From: (your child’s name)” instead of writing all the names of each student. This will make it easier for them to hand it out to students. Please note that bringing cards is optional! We will be handing out cards separately per class so brining enough cards for everyone in your child’s class would be recommended. Thank you!

Mrs. Ly = 21 students
Ms. Deobald = 19 students
Mrs. McEvoy = 22 students

- Bonjour mes amis!

We are looking for parents to assist with our Carnival activities on Tuesday Feb 10. There will be stations set up between 10:30 and 1:30- led by teachers with your support. Volunteers are asked to meet in the hub at 10:30 for a quick debrief, assist a classroom with station set up, stay with that station, and then assist with transporting station materials back in again.

If you are interested in joining us for our winter celebration, please email Shannon McMaster at Cranston.Volunteers@Outlook.com

Merci Beaucoup!
