Happy Friday!

Sorry there was no blog post yesterday!

** PLEASE NOTE: rainbow triad’s entry and dismissal door has changed due to the construction. We will be dismissing students at DOOR #1 which is the door on the side of the building by the parking lot with the stairs.

Dear Mom and Dad:

We had a beautiful peace assembly today. Ask me to tell you what my favorite part was.

All three classes had choir today.

Mrs. McEvoy and Ms. Deobald's last day of swimming was yesterday. A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the parent volunteers who helped us out

Mrs. Ly's class will be going swimming next week.

Question of the day: If you went swimming this week, post on the blog something you did at swimming that you were proud of. Mrs. Ly's students, post on the blog a goal you have for swimming next week.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

All student library books need to be returned no later than June 5th

Mrs. Ly’s class will be swimming NEXT WEEK of June 1-4.

BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY

Hi boys and girls Cranston is participating in “Ride your bike to school day.”

Bike to School Day 2015 is coming up, and is taking place on June 2, 2015! Over 8,000 kids are expected to be riding their bikes to school year with a growing number of schools joining the initiative.

On June 2nd, over 50 school and an estimated 8000 students, if not more will be biking to their schools, participating in Calgary Bike to School Day. The mission of this event is to promote healthy active lifestyles in youth and that it can also be fun!  So get on your bikes and ride to school!

SANDWICH MAKING
For those families who were at Cranston last year, you will remember our Sandwich Making Community Project (donations went to the Mustard Seed) that we were involved in and what a HUGE success it was!  For those new to us, throughout the year, we have been working very hard with our students to recognize the importance of giving back to their community.  We would like to participate in this project again this year.  If we could have each student bring in $2 for this project, it will be used to purchase the sandwich items (bread, ham, mustard, butter, cheese slices, Ziploc bags).  Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.
