This morning we wrote a letter to Mr.Gates. He came in last week to talk to us about mining!
Today we looked at our pumpkin seeds! It was very exciting because these seeds came from the pumpkins donated by our parents back in October. A couple of weeks ago we put 4 seeds each into a wet paper towel and out them in ziplock bags. Today we opened them up to observe them. Ask me to tell you what I observed, noticed and wondered.

mine is just a seed and the root is growing
ReplyDeleteI saw roots and a sprout that had two little leaves on top. Some still had seed lids on them. Abby P
ReplyDeleteMy seed sprouted , I saw the seed cracked open and it had little leaves on the sprout
ReplyDeleteOwen - I saw green plants coming out of the pumpkin seed. One of them died but three were growing.
ReplyDeleteTori: I observed that the seeds was growing. 2 had cracked open and 2 hadn't.
