Haiku about Nova Scotia

Dear Mom and Dad:

As experts we taught the other classes in our triad about our resource and occupation that we have been looking at. Ask me to tell you the three different resources we looked at. We then came up with a Haiku about the resources. Yesterday during poetry, We read a book called "Hi, Koo!" It was a book with different haikus about the seasons. We learned that a haiku is a type of poem that has to do with the number of syllables. Ask me to tell you what a syllable and to tell you how many syllables I have in my name. The first line of the haiku has 5 syllables, the second has 7 and the last line has 5.

Question of the day: Create a short haiku with your family about your family. Post it on the blog! We can't wait to read them :)
