**Scholastic Book orders are due by the end of this week!
Sorry for the short notice. We would like to get the book orders in so that
they are here before Christmas break. If you would like to order some books as Christmas
gifts, please e-mail your child’s teacher so that it can be given to you
secretly.
Dear Mom and Dad:
We did a lot better today in daily 5. We reviewed our
answers from the blog from yesterday to help remind us what our job is during
daily 5.
We added two new poems in our folders and one was about
manners. We talked about being respectful and polite. Please have a
conversation with me about cleaning up after myself in my classroom, especially
after snack. If we each did our part than our learning environment will become
more efficient for learning!
We read a book called “Snowmen at Night” you can listen to
the story here.
We did some beautiful art work using oil pastels after
listening to the story. I can’t wait to show you at conferences this Thursday
and Friday.
Next Wednesday Dec 10 is our singing performance at the
Christmas concert. Our class performance
is the second set in the program and will start at 6:30pm. Please take a moment
to visit Ms. Jackson’s blog and click on the link to the songs that we are
singing. I can practice these songs at home.
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
