Levels of Feelings

Dear Mom and Dad:

This morning Constable Mattice worked with the grade twos today. We learned about different feelings and some ways that we can control our feelings when we get frustrated so that it doesn’t escalate to upset and then out of control! Ask me to tell you some of the things I can do to calm myself down when I am feeling frustrated.

We did a special writing activity today. The volunteer tea is coming up next month and we are creating some beautiful writing pieces for the tables. We appreciate all of our volunteers for everything you do!

We have been working on different skills in gym. Ask me to tell you what my favorite station is and what my job is at the station.

Question of the day: Post on the blog what you do to calm down when you are feeling frustrated.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

  8. I go to my room or I go be myself or I take 10 breaths and then I go out of my room and go play again. Sometimes if I really am mad, sometime I go and give my mom a big hug and then I feel much better. Or I take a nap if I am really cranky or upset or sometimes if I really really don't feel happy I just play by myself and not around people because that can make me mad sometimes. Or I just go away and come back in 10 minutes and that makes me feel much better.
