Dear Mom and Dad:
Constable Mattie came to
our class today and worked with the grade ones. She read a story to us and
talked about our feelings. I learned that I have different levels of feelings.
Ask me to tell you what the different levels are. From calm, to out of control.
We read a story called “Memoirs
of a Hamster”. It was such a funny book! Ask me to tell you what it was about. We
finished our Diary of a Trout book this afternoon. We will be releasing the fish
on Friday May 22. Please check the weekly message updates for more details.

The Rainbow Triad
We share our pencils, our pencil crayons. We include people in our games. We think about each other, we talk nice to each other, we help people if they get hurt. We listen to our teacher and don't push people or hurt anybody. When people are new to our school we make sure that they don't feel sad. When the teacher is talking we don't talk and sometimes when a student is talking and showing something we make sure that we will listen carefully and not make noise.
