Dear Mom and Dad:
Mrs. Kinsman visited our classroom today and shared a book about peace with us. She reminded us that we have the power to change someone's day. Ask me to tell you what she means by that.
We did some beautiful art
today. Ask me to tell you what I used to create my designs. Not all of us
finished yet but they will all like lovely once they are finished.
At the end of the day we
re read a book called “The Invisible Boy”. We had a group discussion of what
the word cooperation means and practiced what it looks like and sounds like. We
listened to some different scenarios and then practiced with a buddy of what we
would do.
Question of the day: Post
on the blog what you would do in this scenario: Someone budges in line. What
can you do?
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
