Rechenka's Eggs

Dear Mom and Dad:

All three classes had music today.

Ms. Deobald’s class had a baby visit from baby Jensen! Ask me to tell you what I noticed about baby Jensen now and what he is able to do.

We had a special presentation in the afternoon from the Heart and Stroke foundation. There were two representatives who came and talked to us about their jump rope program. We watched some students from Cranston show us some cool moves using skipping ropes. Ask me to tell you some of the moves I saw!

We read a story called “Rechenka’s Eggs” by Patricia Polacco. Ask me to tell you what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the story. We had a lot of wonders after reading the book about what the eggs symbolize. Ask me to tell you what the lines mean and what some of the colors mean.

Question of the day: What wonders do you have about the Pysanky eggs?

Love,
The Rainbow Triad
