Dear Mom and Dad:
Mrs. Ly’s and Ms. Deobald’s
class had Roots of Empathy today. We are learning about communication and
safety and how this applies to our baby teacher.
In the afternoon we
represented our learning using pictures and words. Looking at visuals such as
pictures and drawing pictures helps us remember and retain information. We drew
some pictures and symbols of what we have learned so far about Nova Scotia. I
am discovering what kind of learner I am. I know that my representation of work
might be different than someone else’s. My teachers showed us some examples of
their work and they were all-different but had the same message. Ask me to tell
you what I chose to draw to represent my understanding of Nova Scotia so far.
We practiced drawing a light house by following a guided drawing. They are beautiful! We will be creating our masterpieces tomorrow on water color paper.

Question of the day: Post
on the blog what you are learning in word work. We are all in different groups
and it would be neat to see what others are learning about!
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
We were sorting sh, st and s words in our word work books. Nathan C.
