Dear Mom and Dad:
We enjoyed some caroling in the gym today. Ask me to tell
you what songs we sang. We even did a santa dance. It was a lot of fun.
Constable Mattice spent some time with each or our classes
today in our classroom! She showed us her tools and talked about what her job
is as a police officer. Ask me to tell you what her most important tool is (her
five senses). We reach designed our own badge and listened to a story called “
I like myself.” We discussed some of the things that we like about our selves
on the inside and outside. We have been talking a lot about symbols and what
they represent in social studies and we were able to apply this to learning to
our badges today.
Question of the day: Post one thing you learned from
Constable Mattice today.
Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Sienna learnt that Constable Mattice only uses her tools at certain times. She practices using her gun and would only use it for real if something bad happens and someone is in danger.
ReplyDeleteFiona says she only uses her handcuffs and gun if there is an emergency.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned that constable Mattice practices using her gun and that she must love her job because she smiles a lot!
ReplyDeleteI learned that you care from the inside of your body. Emma. P.
ReplyDeleteSam said that your insides are as important as your outsides and you should use your self before using weapons.
ReplyDeleteJack says he learned our eyes, ears, mouth, nose and brain help us hear, think and communicate.
