Terrific Tuesday

Dear Mom and Dad:

We were a nice audience this morning for the first group who will be performing tonight. Ask me to tell you what songs I heard. We will be performing tomorrow night. Please check the housekeeping section for details. We made sure to get a few practices in today as we want to sound our best for you tomorrow J.

Today we worked on our social studies circles. This has been an ongoing activity as we have been adding to it. Our first tiny circle was “all about me”, then a bigger circle was about our families, then we added a circle about groups. Ask me to tell you what the next circle was that I worked on today and why it was important to add it to my project.

We also practiced writing down words that were called out by our teacher. My job was to write down the sounds I hear. I did this activity back in September and my teachers were really excited to see how much I’ve grown since then with how I am doing with writing.

Question of the day: Post on the blog who will be coming to watch you sing tomorrow?

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

Tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 10 is our singing performance at the Christmas concert. Our  class performance is the second set in the program and will start at 6:30pm. Please take a moment to visit Ms. Jackson’s blog and click on the link to the songs that we are singing. I can practice these songs at home.

Students will meet in their classrooms at 6:15pm so that we can get into our line order. Parents, please go straight to the gym to find a seat. After our performance, families are welcome to go back to our classroom to make a Christmas craft. The evening ends at 7:30pm. There is no dress code but the easiest way to think about what your child should wear is to have them look their best!
