the first of December!

This Thursday will be the final day to bring all of your “Families Helping Families” items. Please scroll to the “Families helping families” blog to see what is still needed. Please wrap all items all gifts and labeled to whom they are intended for. Thank you so much for helping a family in need this Christmas!

Dear Mom and Dad:

We did some calendar math this morning. Can you believe it is the first of December? We have been keeping track of how many days we have been in school. We have been in school for 59 days!

Today we needed a lot of reminders about what our job is during daily 5. Please ask me to show you what "read to self" and "read to someone" looks like and sounds like. Ask me to tell you what "eekk" means and looks like

Ask me to tell you what we added to our city today. Our triad are builders! We had a “road team” put together roads and had road painters as well. Ask me to tell you about the big Christmas tree that is in the center of our city and why we decided to put it in the center.

Ask me to share with you what I am leaning in math. We are working on representing numbers and number sense in 3 different groups.

We played dodge ball in gym today! It was so much fun.

Mrs. Deobald and Mrs. Ly’s group went to music today.

Question of the day: Post on the blog what the student's job and teacher's job is during daily 5.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad
