The Northern Lights

Dear Mom and Dad:

We started off the morning publishing our writing that we have been working on. We used paper that was like a book to use our neatest printing to write down our writing about “me”.

We did some beautiful art this afternoon. We looked at pictures of the Northern lights. Mrs. Ly’s brother actually went to Iceland over the holidays and took a photo of the Northern lights from his cabin. We also watched a video and asked questions about what we wondered or know about the northern lights. Ask me to tell you what I might have learned!

We used chalk pastels and oil pastels to create our Northern Lights artwork.

We finished reading “The Tale of Despereaux”! Ask me to tell you about the ending.
