Dear Mom and Dad:
We added two new poems into our folder today. Our job was to
look for our words that we are working on this week and circling them in our
poem.
We are in new word work groups. Ask me to tell you what I
did today in word work.
Abby shared a power point that she made about Nunavut and we
learned a lot of new things!
We worked in groups to compare the city of Iqaluit and the
city of Calgary. We wrote what was the same and what was different.
Question of the day: Post on the blog something that is
different and something that is the same about Nunavut and Calgary.
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
Housekeeping:

It is the afternoon in Nunavut but the sun is already down that is different as the sun is up in the afternoon here. It is the same because we both have snow.
ReplyDeleteTaylor says they are the same because they both have poutine. We are different because they have pipes above ground and we have pipe under ground. They also have the sun set very early in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteAnya says that the Iqaluit and Calgary are both cities. Anya says that they mine in Iqaluit and in Calgary, we get oil.
ReplyDeleteThey both have houses and Calgary is bigger than Nunavut.
ReplyDeleteNoah said that same thing is they both have houses, and the different thing is we have house numbers and they don't.
ReplyDeleteJack: The thing that is the same is we both have stop signs. The thing that is different is they have different types of flowers.
