Dear Mom and Dad:
We had a regular morning with 4 rounds of daily 5, math and
then word work in the afternoon.
We watched a special presentation today by Quest Theatre. It was a really good play about kindness and
friendship called “Snow Angel”. The characters did not use their voices at all.
This allowed us to interpret the message by listening with our eyes.
At the end of the day we played a guessing game that involved us not using our voices but only using our actions using an object (it can be any object, the more simple the object the better). Ask me to explain the game to you. I can play this at home! Ask me to teach it to you and we can play it as a family.
Here is their website. If I had any more questions about the
play I can e-mail them.
Question of the day: Post on the blog what you think the
message of the play was.
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
