Pumpkins!

We need 12 pumpkins for our pumpkin inquiry and are asking if any parents would be willing to donate a pumpkin or pumpkins. Please e-mail your child's teacher if this would be possible. We would like to have them for Monday. Thank you very much for your help!

Dear Mom and Dad:

We started the morning with a beautiful peace assembly where some of the classes in the school shared what they have been learning about. Ask me to tell you what some of the presentations were about. As a school we are exploring about what it means to make a difference. One of the presentations was about "jacket racket" we are looking for donations of hats, scarves jackets, snow pants and mitts for children from grades k-12. We are collecting these items until the end of October. If there are some items we have to donate please send them to school with me.

We had gym today with Mr. McDougal and Mr. Southworth. We did one round of Daily 5 and then listened to a pumpkin story. We thought about all of the wonders we have about pumpkins.

Question of the day: Post on the blog some questions you have about pumpkins.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad
