Dear Mom and Dad:
Ask me to tell you what I did today during daily 5. We added some new words to our word wall: an, at, it, go, no, be, as.
In math we took a closer look at the hundreds chart and got familiar with it by coloring certain squares of the hundreds chart based on numbers in a legend.
All three classes had music today with Ms. Jackson. We had gym outside today with Mr. McDougal. We are practicing throwing and catching a frisbee. Ask me to show you what my throwing position looks like and what my catching position looks like.
We finished up some work today in the afternoon in our visual journals.
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
Housekeeping:
Scholastic book orders are DUE tomorrow if you would like to order books
There is no school on Monday October 13 for Thanksgiving.
Please note that we have volunteers that help us with our home reading so we are currently exchanging home reading books once per week.
Mrs. McEvoy - Wednesdays & Fridays
Mrs. Deobald - Thursdays
Mrs. Ly - Thursdays
The book that your child brings home can be read everyday. Ask them to read the sentence backwards, play "I spy" games, ask them to think of rhyming words for certain words in the book etc.
