Dear Mom and Dad:
We added some new words to our word wall today: are, we, it, I was, on, at. We became word hunters today and found word wall words in our poetry books.
We are working in small groups during math. We are working on creating patterns and growing patterns. Ask me to share with you what I worked on with my teacher today.
All three classes had music today with Miss Jackson. In gym we played a new ball game. Ask me to tell you what it was.
We went outside today and sketched using "wonder windows". We are learning about how to take a closer look and look at detail. Each of us got a small square and we needed to find things outside that were signs of fall with our wonder windows and sketch. Some of us sketched in great detail a twig on the ground, yellow grass, an acorn, a lady bug. Check out some of our photos on the blog!
Love,
The Rainbow Triad
Housekeeping:
We have no set time or day to exchange library books. Students will be able to exchange their books in the mornings when they bring them back. Students can take out 2 books. We ask that one book stays at school in their reading bin and one can go home. We are working on picking "good fit books", please ask me questions about why I picked a specific library book.
If you would still like to donate to the Terry Fox Run, all pledge forms and money for Terry Fox need to be submitted by Friday.
