Fire Drill

Dear Mom and Dad:

Mrs. Ly and Ms. Deobald’s class had Roots of Empathy today with Ms. Nicole. Ask me to tell you what we wrote about and drew.

We had a guest teacher this afternoon as Ms. Deoblad was away.

Today was our last day with Mission Impossible in gym. During gym there was a fire drill and we all did very well listening to instructions. Coming down from the equipment slowly. Being quiet and lining up with our teacher.

We caught up on our work this afternoon. Ask me to tell you the 3 things I had to complete today.

There is no school this Friday because of PD day.

Question of the day:  Post on the blog something you enjoyed at school today.

Love,
The Rainbow Triad

Housekeeping:

Bonjour mes amis!

We are looking for parents to assist with our Carnival activities on Tuesday Feb 10. There will be stations set up between 10:30 and 1:30- led by teachers with your support. Volunteers are asked to meet in the hub at 10:30 for a quick debrief, assist a classroom with station set up, stay with that station, and then assist with transporting station materials back in again.

If you are interested in joining us for our winter celebration, please email Shannon McMaster at Cranston.Volunteers@Outlook.com

Merci Beaucoup!

Words of the week!

Grade 1: help, here, jump, little, look

Grade 2: don't, fast, found, gave, goes

Please go over these words with me. I should be able to find these words in books and the environment and spell the words as well.

Dear Cranston Parents/Guardians
The question of whether Tobogganing/sledding is permitted on school grounds (CBE property) has been circulating lately with differing opinions and interpretations.
After contacting Risk Management, we now have confirmation thatTobogganing/sledding is on the list of “Prohibited Activities on CBE Property”.
In view of this, we respectfully ask for your cooperation in adhering to this safety policy.  Thanks.
Please direct all questions to the school’s administration.
