Wacky Wednesday

Dear Mom and Dad:

We had a wacky Wednesday today! Mrs. Deobald’s class worked with an artist from the Leighton Art center in the morning. Ask me to tell you what kind of art we did.

Mrs. McEvoy’s class had a baby visit today for Roots of Empathy. Ask me to tell you how baby Liam is doing and what we learned.

Today all three classes had the chance to go to the learning commons to do some sketching. Ask me to tell you what we sketched. This is very exciting, as we will get to watch them grow from birth to release.  

We continued looking at non-fiction books in groups and discovered many different features found in these books.

Question of the day: After practicing reading and spelling your words of the week, post on the blog a sentence or sentences using the words.
